Ardezie - Slate
It is majestic, strong and durable. The sallow-looking stone exudes warmth. Slate character allows it to fit a traditional design with the appearance of patina. An old world feeling.
Like granite, slate is durable and impervious to heat. It is fire resistant and not have to worry about burning or charring slate countertops. It is a fine-grained and non-porous rock. Does not absorb water and liquids as easily as marble. Slate stones have a lower absorption rate, so the stains are no problem. In general, these stones do not need varnishing.
